Attention gatekeepers of sensitive information!  A Direct Hire opportunity has arisen! This cybersecurity management position is centered around keeping intruders out and company assets and data in. Crucial job functions include providing strategic insight on areas of improvement, how to best secure business projects, the revision and/or enforcement of company cybersecurity policies, and advisement on data breach prevention.

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Delegate tasks to assigned team and communicate relevant information
  • Hold team accountable, especially in terms of time management and hitting milestones
  • Train team on current methods of network security and new industry trends
  • Maintain knowledge on new threats, what they entail, and establish preemptive protocols
  • Look for vulnerabilities within the network, and spearhead efforts to resolve them
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to potential threats, detected threats, and network attacks
  • Develop methods to measure team performance that can be validated and enforced
  • Periodically evaluate team performance, existing procedures, company cybersecurity policies, and cost of technologies for formal reports
  • Ensure secure data storage and enable staff to safely access any housed information
  • Provide in-depth active directory security over company’s intranet as well as the internet
  • Work with all levels of the company and keep everyone on the same page regarding cybersecurity expectations
  • Represent the company when speaking to vendors

Basic Requirements:

  • At minimum of 7 years in the cybersecurity field
  • At least 4 years in a leadership position within the cybersecurity field
  • Mastery of all things related to information security, starting from preparation to enactment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes
  • Holding either a CISSP, ISC, or CISM certification
  • Understanding of government regulations and ensuring compliance
  • Exemplary communication skills in all capacities
  • Must have a collaborative mindset with strategic outlook
  • Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure
